We will be cruising to the Antarctic on Hurtigruten’s MS Fram, November 25, 2009 for a 13 day trip. This is not a luxury cruise; it is an expedition cruise and we will be making landings in the Polar Cirkel boats.
MS Fram is a new ship (2007) and has all the modern conveniences but don’t expect production shows and bars with dancing. Onboard experts will give lectures on the White Continent. This should be a photographer's dream trip.
We are back from our World Cruise on Royal Princess. We have touched the statues on Easter Island, climbed the Great Wall, felt the earth shake near the active volcano at Rabaul, ridden the bullet train in Japan and a Tuk Tuk in Cambodia, visited the Forbidden City, held a koala, ridden in a gondola in Venice and the list just goes on.
